Entreparticuliers’ Remarkable Stock Surge
Shares of the French real estate firm Entreparticuliers have surged by 800% following its strategic decision to accumulate Ethereum. This public real estate platform’s stock saw a remarkable increase over just five days after announcing plans to transition into an Ethereum Treasury Company. As a result of this shift, the firm’s market value skyrocketed to approximately €23.44 million (about $25.78 million), up from around €1.35 million in January, marking an increase of over 1,800%, according to data from Google Finance.
Announcement and Funding Plans
In a press release on Monday, Entreparticuliers revealed a purchase program for an initial tranche of €1 million worth of Ethereum (ETH), financed by majority shareholder Stéphane Romanyszyn. To bolster the growth of this strategic Ethereum reserve, the company outlined plans to structure various financial instruments for professional investors and financial partners, explicitly ruling out the use of excessively dilutive instruments, such as equity lines.
Additionally, the company noted that further capital contributions would be subject to approval at a general meeting scheduled for June 18, which will address resolutions for funding of up to €150 million.
A Broader Transformation
Founded in 2000 by Stéphane Romanyszyn, Entreparticuliers has traditionally functioned as a real estate search platform since its listing on Euronext Growth in 2007, connecting private individuals for buying, selling, or renting properties without intermediaries.
This strategic pivot is part of a broader transformation for the company.
According to its separate crypto-focused website, Entreparticuliers is evolving from a real estate platform to a pioneer in digital finance, real estate tokenization, and asset management. The firm aims to provide a pathway for investors to gain simple and regulated exposure to Ethereum via publicly listed stock on Euronext Growth. This new direction appears to focus on Ethereum investments, staking, and the development of tokenization tools for real-world assets, including real estate and bonds.
